The Governance For Growth (GFG) Program is a joint Australia-Vanuatu program of assistance, established in 2007 as an adviser, facilitator and broker of regulatory reform and improved public expenditure management, for the purposes of improving economic growth and delivery of government services. Currently in its third implementation phase, it is a platform for policy dialogue between Australia and Vanuatu, supporting the analytical and consultative processes that inform policy formulation, as well as providing resources for policy implementation. The phase 3 program is guided by two core objectives - Government, acting with the private sector, conceives and implements change in policy and practice that encourages inclusive economic growth; and public expenditure delivers services that are more effective. The GfG Program supported the establishment of the Office of the Chief Information Officer (in 2010), and establishment of the telecommunication regulator (2009) and continues support policy development and implementation in the ICT sector today. GfG is also currently supporting policies aimed at enabling e-commerce, such as the Electronic Single Window Project (to make trading easier) and the Interoperability project (to make banking services more convenient).

The Vanuatu Broadcasting and Television Corporation (VBTC) is Vanuatu's national broadcaster. VBTC broadcasts news, educates, and provides analysis and entertainment to the population of Vanuatu through radio, television and online. It is the nation's only emergency broadcaster. VBTC's news is made by ni-Vanuatu people, for ni-Vanuatu people. It is a forum for ni-Vanuatu people to express their voices and views on politics, culture and development. Customs and Inland Revenue, namely CIR, is a large and diverse department with over 90 employees spread across Vanuatu. It is the fifth government department under the Ministry of Climate Change and Natural Disasters (MOCC).

The Department of Forests (DOF) has the regulative and administrative responsibility for the management of the forestry sector throughout Vanuatu. It leads the implementation of the National Forest Policy and implements and enforces the forestry legislation. It promotes the integral and sustainable management of all forest resources for the supply of products and services. It approves utilization operation agreements and ensures that all forest-related orders and codes are implemented. It collects information about forest resources, conducts forest research and facilitates the development of commercial plantations and agro-forestry systems. It provides advice on forest conservation, protected areas and National Parks. The DOF provides forest policy advice to the Government and ensures the sustainable management and conservation of Vanuatu’s forests.

The Vanuatu National Statistics Office (VNSO) is a department with in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Management. It is Vanuatu's official statistical agency and, compiles and publishes statistics about the Republic of Vanuatu.

The Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) Department is mandated by an Act of Parliament to register all vital events in Vanuatu such as births, deaths (foetal and still birth) and marriages. The Immigration Department is mandated to provide an efficient and effective immigration service through the application and enforcement of the Immigration and Passport Acts. Delivering on the mandate includes the formulation and implementation of policies relating to residence permits as a consequence to investments and work permits issued by VIPA and Labour Department respectively, passports and the maintenance of services at ports of entry. The Vanuatu Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) is an established department responsible for the monitoring and development of Agriculture sector in the country. Vanuatu has a population of 234, 000 people across 80 islands.
